The Programme
How The Awaaz Project works.
Phase 01
School onboarding
Schools and teachers join The Awaaz Project portal. Accounts are created, the platform is introduced, and teachers begin their self-paced training journey.
Phase 02
Teacher training, 4 to 6 weeks
Our training programme covers five areas: how to use the platform, classroom discussion techniques, subject-specific knowledge, how to teach writing, and how to teach reading. Teachers complete videos, downloadable resources, live training sessions, and interactive quizzes for each area.
Phase 03
Teaching and deployment
Once trained, volunteer teachers worldwide connect live with classrooms in Pakistan via Zoom or Google Meet. Sessions are supported by ready-made lesson plans, slide decks and worksheets. Timing is agreed per school: after school hours, free periods, or Saturday sessions.
